Memory Stick Duo pro problem.

Ok i have a memory stick duo pro 2gig card for my mobile. My phone reads it with no problem but my pc does not see it. I have a Gericom external 250gig hard drive that has a six in on card reader. It reads the 64meg card iv taken out of my phone but not the 2gig. It just says there is no card inserted. Is this a driver problem and if so can someone point me towared a driver update as i dont seem to be able to find one not even on the makers website.

Do the duo's have the same problem that the original memory sticks had, that is up to 128MB a regular reader could use the cards, but above that size a MSPro reader was required to see the card. I have that problem, 512MB Pro stick in my camera but the port on my printer won't see it.

Have you tried using it on someone else's computer, or in one of those memory card readers for cameras in "boots"

Im not sure that size is the problem. My 64meg card is a memory stick duo and my 2gig card is a memory stick duo pro. That could be the problem but i still need my card reader to read the 2gig stick.

If you memory Stick is an MS Pro, You must have a reader writer that is capable of reading MS Pro Media.
MS and MS Pro are not the same format and require a compatible reader in order for them to be used.
