Noticed elsewhere a thread relating to how bad a drive the Samsung (no mention of model) was.
However rather than respond in that thread. I've decided to do it here.
The Samsung SH-S203B SATA DVDRW is the drive of the moment.
It is not only fast, but produces quality burns.
Using Verbatim branded(MCC) or TY(Taiyo Yuden) 16x rated media. Even @ 20x the burns are very good. Which is exceptional.
I have two of these drives in my current setup.
I am very pleased with this Samsung. 8)
