Hi Guys
As you might know from my previous post, I have an ASUS P5N32-SLI Premium that will be going back to Novatech for repair very shortly.
However, this question is CPU/Mobo related because I need to know if my new Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66ghz will work with that Asus board?
Thanks
Rich

I'm afraid that motherboard doesn't support the Core 2 Quad processors, I had to take mine back as it wouldn't support my Q6600

did you try a bios update?

It wouldn't work at all and according to the ASUS website, even with the latest BIOS update it still doesn't support the Core 2 Quads

P5N32 SLI does not support Quad Core. This is board limitation.

According to Asus and novatech the ASUS P5N32-E SLI PLUS does support Quad Core. It's a revised version of the board that started this thread. It's all in the added "E"... :D

Bit concerned now.
I just ordered one of these (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?MBB-XLGTV2). The spec states its an Asus P5N-32 SLI... but not with the 'E'. However, it claims to be bundled with a Q6600. Will this be okay?
Also, can anyone tell me what the 'X-league' means?
Cheers.
