View Full Version : PSU Blown!!!
Tidied up my room earlier and unplugged all the power cables then when put them back in and tried to turn on my PC the trip switch went! Turned it back on and saw a spark at the back of my PSU and cant turn my PC on at all!!!
The PSU is an EZcool 550w and was wonderin whether any of my components cud have been blown cos if they are my Belkin surge protector is **** and hasnt worked and they can pay for the problem!!! (Supposed lifetime guarrantee of £175000!)

look on the motherboard , esp at the points where the power cables connect, any burns??
Plus power supplies can protect your system if something like this happens, so quite unlikely that your hardware is gone, apart from the psu that is
oh yea, my psu went bang before, wouldnt turn on, i left it over night and it worked again
Will test 2mo 2 c if it works!!!
No there are no burn marks on motherboard connector! does that mean that the components in my computer are alrite just prob need 2 get a new PSU?
Lewis :? :? :?
Sorry also is it the PSU thats faulty or the surge protector?
