Hi,
im having problems when i try to open my control panel (this isn't even shown on the start panel) network connection and help nd suport. It comes up with a error message sayig i have to contact my system administrator it says:
"This Operation has been cancelled due restrictions effect on this computer. Please contact your system Administrator" .
It might be a virus or sypware or whatever the stuff is called, but i run my anti-spyware and virus scans frequently.
shall i re-install windows? if so will i loose all my seting and files?
plz help!

If you clicked on run and then type control and it didnt work, pretty strange i would start backing up your important files from now just in case. But seems strange though, might be worth doing a system restore also.

Just seems strange that u cant restore, cant get your c/p just think that if u have valuble files then u should b/u now and save tears later. Then you can do a clean install and not worry about it. Pc love a clean install every year anyway i keep all my valuble files on my 2nd h/d.

i dont really have any valuble files but, will i have to reistall my games or loose game save when i reinstall windows?

No just look for your game saved files and back them up they are usually easy enuf to find

get your game saves, they arent big files.
back up all relevant data, make a list of all settings which you wish to keep e.g. ip addresses if you have them etc.
Then reinstall

yes then you should be good to go! And your machine will be a lot more responsive also with a fresh install (unless u have a striker lol)
