Wireless Network Query

Hi, I'm attempting to set up my first network. I have a BT line and a broadband Wanadoo modem and connection.

I'm getting a second computer next week, which will be in the next room. I'd like to set up a wireless network between the two computers (both will have Windows XP). Could someone point me in the direction of the simplest method of setting up as a wireless network please?

If you ask wanaddo then they can set up a service
wireless and talk
you get unlimited calls at weekends and after 6.
1 hour at a time, make as many 1 hour calls as you want
And they send you adapters and a wireless router, installation CD, wireless adapters ETC, but you have to pay like £2 a month extra and its 1MB

Thanks, but to be honest I'd like to avoid dealing with Wanadoo as they made a mess of setting up the broadband in the first place! I'd begrudge giving them any more money than the monthly broadband fee!

Any router would work fine
As long as it isnt too cheap

You will need 2x wireless adaptors usb or pci your choice
1x ADSL wireless router doesn't matter too much which brand

Wanadoo will work virtually straight out the box.

Live Boxes as a previous poster mentioned work fine but they are a little on the large side for my liking and look like the love child of an ipod and a hardback book. :wink:

so what you thinking of doing? file sharing? printer sharing?
