AMD heatsink and fan [Archive] - Novatech Community Forums

Just wondering when i buy an AMD 64x2 (not sure which one yet) would i get the heatsink and fan with it or would i have to buy it seperately?

If it's a retail CPU you get a fan. If its OEM you don't.

thanks, save me the money of buying one. Is it a good fan, i mean is it noisy or anything else annoying?

I have no idea. Aftermarket coolers will be better though.
