Got myself a new canon 50mm MK2 today :)

Cracking lens there I will get one , one day may I ask how much did you pay for it? Also looking at getting into photography what would you say would be best nikon or canon or sony ? there just too much out there.

I started with a Pentax KM, so keep pentax in mind, great cameras...

But when you start to invest in kit, Canon is my personal choice, Nikon for me are to basic... but just pick a canon and nikon up at jessops, see which you find best to use.

As for the 50mm i payed £100 for it :)

Looking to replace my kit all together here, quite partial on the d90 but unsure as yet. This Olympus stuff needs to go, lenses cost more than most cameras which isn't any good!

I have that same lens. The sharpness and the colours on it are superb. Bargain price point too

Used to have this lens but I dropped it on the floor and it broke. Only paid about £65 for mine! Is a good lens though, the 50mm from any company is good. :D

Very nice photographs there, I think higher res photographs are better than lower ones but that's my opinion =]
