I have purchased a VIA USB2 card and I am running XP with SP3. In the device manager it states that the card is running OK, but it will not mount any device that I plug in. I have tried updating the driver through Driver Max but it will not update. I have found out since the VIA does not have an agreement with Microsoft to release the drivers for SP3. Can anyone give advice?

It should work out of the box.
When you plug a USB device in, does it come up in the device manager?

Hiya If you still have this issue, drop me a mail at john.cooper@novatech.co.uk This is a driver problem. The Inbox MS Driver for VIA USB does not seem to work properly for USB 2 Device. You need to update the Driver for the Enhanced USB Controller and then the problem should go away. Drop me a line and i'll give you the files you need.
