What a rip off!! My school charge £13:50 per module, which is actually a rise from £10 last year.

I just had an AS electronics resit and have a chemistry resit tomorrow.

My college is the no.1 in the city so they make us suffer for underachieving, the college my dad teaches at, literally down the road (no.2) gives it's students up to 4 free re-sits a year!

It varies course by course (because my college doesn't subsidise re-sits, we pay what they have to pay) so some of them are up to around £40-50 (laguage oral re-sits)

I think I did pretty well today, was just a lot of Questions on Earthquakes, a bit about Ocean floors and a bit about polar reversal and magnetism

BTW. Geology > Geography :p

I hate Geography, possibly the most boring thing in the world! Although, at least Physical is vaguely interesting, unlike Human, which i have next week. Unfortunately most of Physical now combines tourism and.... zzzzzzz

Good luck for your exam tomorrow! I hated the social geography bits, boring as heck and pretty much common sense, which is why I took Geology instead, my teacher's a bit weird though, and has literally only turned up to about 70% of our lessons so we had to cover 1/3 of unit 2 in a week (4 hours)

Mechanics Unit1 tomorrow, anyone else sitting it? I'm pretty well prepared I think, I've done every single past paper bar one, which i'm saving for a warm up tomorrow morning (afternoon exam) just to knock my brain into gear

fair enough, C1 is pretty easy tbh, you should do fine. everyone says M1 is hard, but I'm finding that pretty easy too, it just takes practise (ie. do all the past papers) because they ask very similar questions

Sorry to revive an old thread, but, tell that to my C2 resit which went from 63 to 87. xD
On the other hand, my C3 and Spanish AS resits didn't go up at all. I got the exact same mark as before, at least I'm consistent I guess. :rolleye:

I am very lucky that I got in to my insurance after being declined, they gave my place back the day after results - and by that point I had got other 3 offers in clearing...
This next year looks to be dire for anyone wanting to go to University, good luck with your A2 exams.

As for hosting, you can get a good free hosting plan (in data terms) at byethost.com, the servers aren't too bad, it's not got CPanel but it's good for most purposes.

Up to 5GB storage, 1 50MB MySQL Database and 200GB transfer free, no adverts, no major limit on the number of domains you host with it, so long as you get three hits a month on the account (excluding bots I think) or more they do warn you by email.
Which when you're developing as you isn't hard to maintain.
You're allowed to hold up to three free accounts but their is a fair CPU usage policy, so any really demanding scripts might be classed as abuse because its a shared platform.
