My experience may not be typical but when I unpacked my TV the polystyrene packaging was completely knackered. It was broken and useless. Once the cardboard was removed the packaging fell off in a shower of polystyrene snow with not a chance in **** of ever putting it back around the panel. The package had obviously had some heavy handling. The TV is fine and unmarked thank goodness so the packaging ultimately did its job. I had to break up the box to provide padding to get the TV home from the delivery address because the packing material was smashed up!!
However, the warranty states that in the event of a fault you must return the TV in the original packaging or they are not responsible for whatever happens in transit. How am I supposed to do that?
A minor point but a relevant one.
