Theme: Water
I'm modifying the rules slightly from last time to widen the entry range somewhat
EDIT: competition extended
- Photos must be taken between 8th June and 3rd August 2010 (inclusive). This is to encourage you to go out and shoot new stuff, not rely on past glories.
- Any interpretation on the theme is allowed
- Entries must be uploaded to the internet (try Deviant Art, flickr, picasaweb or tinypic.com for uploading) and PM your entry to me (Mr Grapes)
- As this is a photography comp, not a who's got the best gear comp, images from 2MP and up are permitted. This deliberately includes reasonable camera phones.
- Entries should be titled and be accompanied by a short text description explaining, for example, how the photo was taken, when, in what circumstances, how it fits with the theme etc. You do not need to provide details of the equipment used.
- As a photography competition, heavily "photoshopped" entries are not permitted. Photoshop adjustments should be limited to full image adjustments, e.g. levels, saturation, duotone plus some light dodging and burning. Localised adjustments such as cloning, removing artifacts etc are not permitted
- The winner will be decided by poll
- The unedited winning entry must be submitted to me (Mr Grapes) for review in the event of any dispute over editing etc
- Clearly, by entering this competition, entrants permit their entries to be used for the purpose of the competition but entrants will retain full copyright control over the work.
- Competition coordinators and/or Novatech and/or its staff will not be held responsible for any loss incurred etc, etc. You know the score.
- No prize as it stands, just an inflated ego
