Just in case some of you chaps are not aware of it, there is an issue between Microsoft Security Essentials and ZoneAlarm where installing ZoneAlarm will cause windows to lockup if Security Essentials is already present.

The cause (and solution) is addressed in this KB article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/979278

In short Microsoft are going to patch this issue in Windows 7 SP1 but are happy to give you the hotfix in the meantime.

Don't see the point in Zonealarm these days. MS Firewall is good enough for me.

The only time it was worth using was back when windows didn't have it's own. 99% of people using it just guess when they get asked whether to allow access or not and as such it's less than useless.

I guess you mean just the standalone firewall ?
The suite in my opinion is very good, especially for the non enthusiast user.
