Quark XPress 8...

Is there anyone here that uses or is learning Quark Xpress 8?

I have just started Quark training and would be interested in talking to anyone else learning or is experienced with this software.

Quark's horrible, clunky, thinks it knows best and just hasn't moved on much since its early days.

IMO, Adobe InDesign is a much nicer package.

It won't let you scale things down below 10%, layer masking is a royal PITA, from the brief experience I've had of using it and being given web designs in Quark format to use to build into usable websites, it decreased productivity by quite a bit.
