Ok, I finally found what was causing my lag. It was my USB network adapter being plugged into my front ports. So i plugged it into my back ports but thats where i found the solution and a problem, at normal clock speed (not overclocked) i got normal ping and no lag, but when i overclock my fsb, the lag also increases. This is a problem as i mainly bought the e2160 & the asrock motherboard for overclocking. Is there any way i could overclock and usb my USB network adapter, would getting a USB2.0 PCI card help?
Something like this?

I can't get a cable because of the awkward position of my router/pc.

err what usb, you mean you are using usb to ethernet?
Get a nic + some network cable and connect. USB is awful.

I'm not sure what your setup is.
Are you using wireless or cable?
Is your wireless card usb?
My initial advice would be to ditch the usb and get something on the PCI bus. USB sucks up cpu power.

Well i'm using a router (bt home hub), ive got a usb network adapter plugged into my pc which is wireless.
And ive just ordered a 20m ethernet cable, that should hopefully solve my problems if i can run it through the floor.

Well a PCI wireless card would probably be a lot better than a USB version.
