HD compatible graphics card?

I am wanting to connect my PC up to my HDTV using a DVI-HDMI cable as i have heard this is the best quality. I will also be viewing hd content in 1080.

I am looking for a graphics card that is going to do a good job bt not break the bank, has anyone got a good combination or does anyone have any recommendations?

Mine is through vga/D-sub and it looks great on my telly and mine is 27" on 96dpi, didnt really consider upping the dpi because it looks so good already
