View Full Version : Scheduled image resize with FTP options?
Just wondering if anybody has come across any decent software that will allow for a scheduled batch of image resizing with the option to then uplaod the results via FTP?
Thanks :)

I think the question has been answered and I wouldn't know about ftp with this but for anyone looking for graphic utilities, imagemagik is perhaps worth knowing about I use it (sort of command line but via php) to strip white space and resize. Their site seems down from here as I type but here is the wikipedia article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ImageMagick.

While still not ftp, a user running a Unix type system such as Linux would probably make use of Cron to handle the scheduling. Between that and a shell script (sort of task scheduler and a batch file on windows) I'd guess quite a lot is possible.
Finally got around to looking at pickup, doesn't really work as I need to be able to schedule the resize and upload from a folder and just have it loop through the contents.
