Having problems with a new Q6600  and reckon the problem is with the PSU fitted.

Having spent my hard earned cash on the Q6600, I'me looking at the Novatech 600W beast. I read that the 550W version only has four 4pin molex cntrs and single SATA. This would hold me back from fitting the raft of disks I have. The big question is will the 600W be up to the job of powering four PATA & four SATA disks & what power connectors does it have?

Anyone with experience of this PSU?

AAAH NO! that novatech 600W is not really a beast if your goin for 600w and want actually 600w of power @ normal temperatures then go with a trusted brand mayb a hiper 580w type r or a corsair or thermaltake psu

Thanks for the advice, psus aren't really my expert area. I think I'll go for a thermaltake, but it'll wipe out some of my slush funds ;-)
