I need a new PC - what can you recommend pls?

I need a new PC, my current spec is:

1.6GHz
Intel Pentium 4 Processor
256 MB SyncDRAM
256KB L2 Cache 400 MHZ System Bus
40GB Hard Drive Ultra DMA
CDRW/DVD 8xMax. Write/Play Combo Drive
64 MB AGP nVidia Geforce2 MX 400
56k Modem Fax ITU V.92 ready
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

As you can see it's old, it takes ages to load up, ages to get on the iternet, it crashes, the graphics can hang, it is extremely slow!!

I need a machine which can multi-task, is fast, won't hang, won't freeze. I need it to run a small business, for my children to do their homework on, and for entertainment and powerful game play.

What can you recommend under £900? :lol:

The Executor with Vista Business is £880.08 incl. VAT. That should give you a very, very good margin for futurproofing if you aren't a power hungry overclocker/serious gamer like some of the users here!

Thanks all. Do I need a lot of RAM for the operating system to be able to multi-task and not hang, slow down or graphics freeze? And how much RAM do I need?

2GB Ram should do you. this is probably, currently the best amount of RAM to currently have.
