Hi, im a young PC user and ive just created a Novatech forum account. Anyway, I recently advised someone on which PC to buy, so i told them to get the Icon Elite Pro. It seemed great for what they needed in a PC. The descirption on the site stated that it contained a 2x 2.2GHz AMD Athlon X2 4400 64 Bit dual core Processor, but it turned out that it only had a 2.3GHZ processor according to the system description. So i checked the processor specs on AMD site which confirmed it was 2.3 not 2X 2.2 which novatech claimed!!! Isn't 2 x 2.2 equivalent (or near enough) to a single core 4.4ghz processor??? - in which case there is a huge differernce between the alleged, and actual processor power.
If the dual core AMD processor is 2.3ghz, does this mean each core is only a pathetic 1.15ghz??! Should i tell them to return it and spend a little extra on the Isys EX, or a little less on the 2x 1.6ghz Isys pro??
Ps. according to system description the RAM reads 1942mb when it is supposed to be a 2gb (i.e 2048mb) RAM. I know the values arent always exact, but does this sound right?
(I got a Intel Core 2 duo novatech pc 5/6 months ago, but didnt have these issues)
many thanks for help in advance..
