Hi

Not sure if this should be in this section or the memory one.

I am thinking of buying an Executor pro but would prefer to have 4 Gb of Ram with the intension of upping to 8 later. can I just buy a 2Gb chip and put it in or would I need get 2 x 1Gb chips and swap them all for 2GB chips later on when and if I decide to go to 8GB?

Thanks in advance

Hi The Executer Pro comes with 2 x 1gb ddr 2 800 memory, and has four slots on the msi p35 motherboard, so your order code for the extra sticks is
RAM-80/1GB, just order two of these when you purchase the pc and you can just slot these in when you set up the pc

Thanks

Is there any way I can order the Executor Pro with 2 x 2Gb sticks instead of 2 x 1Gb?

hi bob,

unfortunately our pc systems come as they are advertised and cant be changed however you can pay for the extra ram and have it fitted by our service department before it is dispatched by paying a small extra charge for ram install.
