the clue is in the name, i cant decide and dont know enough about TFT's to make a decision. Im leaning towards the dell, but thats coz it looks the best.
here are the choices:

The contrast ratio inst hardly as good on the dell
The acer has a very quick response time... id go with that one.. hopefully it comes with the picture on the screen!

yeah, althogh im already on 20", as far as reso goes that wouldnt be any more.
Im looking at 24" as its a good deal more reso, and not dreadfully expensive (27+).

Enlighten me. Those are all 16.7M colour monitors.
Is that a big improvement over 16.2M colours? Is that the main thing to look for?
It's hard to buy a monitor if you haven't seen it in action... :?

20/22 are same reso, so 22 has bigger pixels and so may not look as good.
the winning on in CPC was a sammy 20", which they found better than all the 22's

Well it down to reviews in my case tbh but also all these pc mags that have pictures of the offices seem to run asus 22" monitors lol I think samsung are supposed to be really good also so definately between those 2 for me!!

They're all TN panels so there's not going to be a lot between them. I think the dell and samsung may even use the same panel.

Or samsung! The dell monitor looks almost identical to the sammy.
You are also assuming that the dell has a top quality panel. The 30inch dell is an amazing screen. So were the expensive 24's. These newer models are TN panels so there is not really going to be a lot between them. The dell does have usb ports and stuff though, so it might be worth buying on those kind of features if prices are similar.
