Hey guys, I'm tearing my hair out trying to find an answer for my girlfriend. She's got some .pdf files that I've imported into iBooks on her iPad. But they all have really stupid mismatched thumbnails and it makes the bookshelf look "messy."

So I was given the task of finding software to change the thumbnail image of her .pdf so she can read and not have a messy iBookshelf...

Oh by the way, the .pdf's are security protected from work and we cannot override them as far as I am aware.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

From what I've seen the thumbnail is generated by iBooks, not the PDF document and iBooks simply takes the view of the first page in the document. So without being able to change the document I'm not sure it's possible.

I thought as much, I was searching the internet to remove the security but couldn't find anything, not even a cheeky bit of code to allow me to insert a new front page. I was just hoping that someone else had maybe come across the problem before and had a solution :(
