Anyone got ideas about the best Nvidia card for gaming, for around £130. Interface has to be AGP. Currently running GeForce 6600 on MSI 6741 mainboard with AMD Athlon 64 3400. RAM is currently 1GB but thinking of upping to 2Gb.

yeah for £130 you could try and find a x1950 pro agp or a x1650 xt and another gb of ram!

Thanks for the info and links. I'll check out the 7600GT (always got on better with Nvidia). Got my birthday on Saturday - hope I get enough to get some RAM too! :D

Not AGP but the 8600GT is the best value card going when you consider this price.

You are totally wrong. It's £50!
You can't see it because you have endless streams of money pouring out of your pockets. For £50 that's a brilliant card.

There is no law saying oyu have to play games on full settings. You just drop the settings. Only a ****** would try and play something like gears of war with graphics set to full on an 8600 GT. It's not meant to let you play games on high, it's just meant to let you play games.

neh 2 in sli u wud b better off with sumthin else probably but @ £50 that card is good, @ £70 which it is from most online retailers its not such a good deal as the x1950pro stomps all over it @ this price point and on AGP the only options are x1950 xt, x1950 pro, 7600gt and the two ati cards should do you fine
