Hi, this might be a silly question but here it goes.
I have been considering buying the The Executer Pro. As I was comparing it with other PCs from different retailers I found that pretty much all other retailers with a PC priced at about the same price with the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 seemed to have 8mb cache while this one has only 4mb. Am I reading this right? The Executer Pro seems good value for money, it was just this little thing that has been bugging me.

Thanks

Hi,
I think you will find that is a typo and 8Mb is correct as shown below:

Intel Quad Core Q6600 95Watt G0 Stepping (This is the one that Overclocks) 4 x 2.40Ghz 8Mb Cache 1066 FSB Quad Core Processor

I'm sure you're right, I don't think the Quad Core Q6600 comes in a 4mb cache version. Can anyone confirm this for sure?

It's 8MB.

Intel comparison Site (http://compare.intel.com/pcc/showchart.aspx?mmID=885492&familyID=1&culture=en-US) :)

I believe that is 4MB per 2 cores. As the quad is made of 2 dual cores.

Ah thanks, I'm glad I know that now.
