I bought a GeForce 6600 from Novatech a week or two ago and installed it. It worked fine. However, when I came to play a game using the graphics card, the game no longer functioned. In addition, when I tried to work in Cinema 4D, it kept crashing.

I thought perhaps it was my applications that were faulty so I uninstalled/reinstalled but I was having exactly the same problems. Bear in mind that the graphics card I had before this worked fine and that's a GeForce 2!

Of course I've installed all of the updated drivers, but it still doesn't work.

So, I've had to take out my GeForce 6600 and put my GeForce 2 back in so I can actually play games. This is very annoying. Even the nVidia demos don't work so I'm assuming there is most definitely a problem with the card itself.

Can anyone offer some advice or shall I send it back?

hello, unfortunately the problem looks like it could be a faulty card. the only thing that i would have said to try would be to update the drivers, as you have already done thins i think it will be best if we have the card back for test and replacement.

please can you contact aftersales on 0870 112 0612 to arrange a return.
