Radeon HD 2600XT problems

So i have just literally received this card yesterday and aside from the fact that ATI have problems and therefore i cant play Last Chaos cause their drivers are incompatably im having other problems.

When im wathching videos my computer hangs and the sound carries on but i can do nothing else with my computer other than hit the reset button.

My computer is 100% uptodate as far as im aware and i have downloaded DX10 and use ATI driver version7.1 which is the most up todate yet this continues to happen this never happened before and its getting really anoying should i return the card 2 bad experiances.

Im considering going back to NVidia neve had any problems with their cards

it could be overheating because my graphics card does the same but my cooling is **** do you know your temperatures?

seriously doubt it its BRAND new as in only just out of the packet yesterday its running at 40 degrees when im just surfing the web and that cant be bothered testing it with video at mo as itll just crash

i would also check the power inlets on your card.

i cannot find information on what power inlets this card has. could you please infrom me of the ports and pincount on each port.

this card plus srtaight into the PCIe slot i need advice on how to fix the problem or i will have to return the card

no need to worry card is going back to Novatech your an excellent company pity about this one product is all im gonna buy another card from you but it will be Geforce as ive alaways used them and neve any problems
