never have, or any .jpg.exe
went on myspace tho, clicked on someones profile, trojan came up, guh. AVG pigs, go get him!!!

i don't use myspace. And i got it from a contact on msn as it just poped up randomly. It was suppost to be a image file inside but was exe

good. facebook > myspace. even when you accept a file over msn you still need to open it manually for the virus to work. if you have file extensions hidden i can see how easy this would be to do.

hmmm yes. I actually do.... usually lol.

When windows xp starts up it says its missing system32/....dll which is just great!

There is plenty more infected system files so should i heal them or will it give me the blue screen of DEATH >?!?!?! im scared because i don't won't to be without a computer for a while lol

Well you need to do something or you'll end up without a pc for a while, sound like a complete reinstall to me though but try to do what you can

u put the xp cd in and boot from it, then a list of options come up and repair install is one of them, it basically overwrites ur xp boot files with a new copy

im getting an xp pro disc today so it will be all good. in the meantime ive been asked to make a webpage for a broadband provider. Lets just say that is going to be interesting though... :lol:

yes dilly dally, defo re-install, i had this problem but i did et a virus, or instead o re-installin, just repair and i belive it will restore the files that are fcked! XD
