not the best gaming system

Not sure if to stay with Intell or go AMD dont like ATIO Cards

Any ways i have about £800 to spend maybe £850 pushing it
cpu wise would the 8 core amd out perform intells i7 cpu

been looking at Destroyer (Power Gaming PC)
But can you advise on simerler spec AMD build and if it be better than Destroyer (Power Gaming PC)

there is nothing by AMD that can beat an Intel in gaming at the moment, not even 2400 let alone 2600. AMD's 8 cores is a lie, it's similar to Intel's i7 processors, 4 real cores, each do 2 threads. for gaming, Intel's faster single-thread performance is where it counts.

the Destroyer is a good sensible build. great CPU, good graphics card, amp power supply. should be great for a few years, then you can simply upgrade graphics card to stay with latest games.



only thing though, lack of SSD. with prices of HDD at the moment, could easily swap a 500GB to a 64GB SSD for the same price. of course it would seem less on the spec sheet, which is bad for marketing. :rolleye: im sure you could phone NT and ask about SSD options. (or even ask for a 128GB SSD with a slightly cheaper price, then put your own 1TB into new machine)
