The thread title is really non discript, can i take it to mean that whilst you used to open on sundays you no longer do?

Yes, the short version is that for a trial period we are going to be closing all our stores on Sundays while we assess the impact and investigate if its viable for us to continue trading on Sundays.

Well I just took a special 40 mile round trip to find you were closed at Portsmouth and while sat in the car for 10mins on my phone trying to find out why you were closed at least 10 cars came, turned round and then went.
One thing I would like to add is I had done a reserve and while on the site I had not noticed one mention about the revised opening hours.

This is unfortunate Turbojo.

Perhaps we can deliver the goods to you at no charge for the inconvenience. Could you please send me your reservation number and I'll see what I can do. We are "trailing" being closed on Sunday and will take feedback from your comment.

Sincerest apologies

Thanks, the res number is: 5039657. Funny thing is I bought a 27" Benq monitor Staurday afternoon and the rep said when I asked it came with a DVI cable, when I gor home it is a VGA so the main purpose of the trip was to get one (and another card so I can run a few more aux displays).
I do think it should be in large writing on the main homepage, I would have seen the hours then.....

Stores do change their hours and it's virtually impossible to tell everyone, the e.mail bulletin helps but not everyone is subscribed, I always check before travelling myself, so I guess it's one of those unfortunate things that catches you out, and in todays economy I suspect there will be plenty of firms reviewing the hours as £400 of sales doesn't pay half a dozen employees wages making it a loss trade day, on the up you now have a bit of extra time on Saturday's as this has been extended to 6pm iirc, sorry you had a wasted journey but just the same as football match getting called off it's up to the person to check if they aren't coming from just up the road.

This is probably just me, because I still go to school, but I think that most stores should have short opening hours during the week and longs ones at weekends.
e.g. 12-4 on weekdays, but 10-6 on weekends.
