Hi, I have ordered a new base unit from NT without op sys and a copy of XP Home as I was advised not to buy vista just yet. I dont have the option of buying the unit preloaded with xp. Is it a straight forward job to load this ?

Thanks for your reply, I have had a couple of "experts" telling me I would need a floppy drive to load drivers etc and all sorts of confusing information or maybe misinformation.
Thanks again

if you want RAID then yes, apart from that, you dont need to use one

if you are going to be using raid then you will need a floppy drive (unless you got some time to kill and make a copy of windows with the drivers loaded onto them like I did "its easyer to just buy a floppydrive <_<") if you just have it normaly then its almost painless.
i forgot to put my floopy in my pc might have to place it back in if im going to use RAID
