My Nero PC (PC-0879T) came fitted with an XFX branded Geforce 6800GS PCIe card; but I am confused as to what model it is and what features it should have, since I was told by a salesman that a Leadtek/Winfast card was fitted to this machine.

Is it this one: XFX GeForce 6800 GS 256 MB DDR3 *** Edition (PV-T42G-UAD3) or this one: XFX GeForce 6800 GS 256 MB DDR3 Extreme Edition (PV-T42G-UAF3)??

Does it do VIVO (video in/video out ie. video capture) (No VIVO or HDTV cable as shown in the manual was actually included with my card - just a cable that looks like an S-Video / TV Out cable. Are these cables optional extras and if so where can I buy them?

Thanks
Nigel

Our build for this PC lists the graphics card as NOV-68GS

This is the generic code for a number of cards.

The best thing to determine more specific details about this card is to download and run something like Belarc Advisor.

Well I had a look inside the PC, and its:

PV-T42G-UADR

which isn't one currently sold by Novatech; but I assume it's an OEM version of the XFX GeForce 6800 GS 256 MB DDR3 *** Edition. However, neither card is listed on the XFX website, so I'm still not much wiser as to its VIVO (video in/video out capabilities) or lack there-of.

This version of the card does not support VIVO.

Support for TV / HDTV out only.

Card is provided with DVI to CRT adaptor and S-Video Cable only

Shame. Oh well never mind; thanks for the clarification.
