Energiser case top USB ports not working

Hi I recently purchased an energiser PC from novatech and just wondered if the top 2 USB ports on the Antec 900 Gamer case are supposed to be connected. The audio ports work fine not sure about the firewire because I dont use it but the USB would be handy to have on the front. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes they should be connected as far as i know.

This will probably be irrelevent, but how do you connect these things? And does all PC cases have them.

I have just taken a quick look inside the pc and the only cables attached from the case to the motherboard are the power, hdd and reset. I could be wrong though. I have tryed looking in the antec manual but it doesn't give me any clues.

If you go to the Novatech Motherboard Bundles, there is a PDF.

It says how to disconnect and connect things to the motherboard.

Ok just had a look again and found the usb cable it all looks to be plugged in but they aren't working might the engineers who built the system have known there was a fault and thats why there are an extra 2 ports on the back? I think that was a fact that I forgot to mention in my original post there is an additional 2 USB ports on the rear of the machine.
