Laptop drives on pc

Basically, for my new pc, i want it to look good, so i want a cd drive thats befind a bezel and is almost not visible, so for this i want to use a slot loading drive.
To the point:
How do you get laptop ata to pc ata or sata?

Yup, that sort of thing, although it needs to be slot loading :)

Forgive me for asking but a laptop CD drive is consdierably smaller than a PC equilivent.

Won't you just have a big gap that will just look silly? And the same way you can't just go and buy any old laptop CD drive. It has to be the one for the model you own.
