Hello. Anyways, I signed up only really to sort out my problem I have with Windows Vista. This has probably been asked in some other way or form but I’m asking this anyways. What I would like to know is how can I gain access to the System Administrator abilities? I seriously need access to them, I can’t install some programs and uninstalling is just as annoying. I’m already an administrator but I need access to the System Admin’s abilities. I’ve searched around on the web for ways around this but all of these have failed, I just need direct and correct instructions on how to get the total control of System Admin.

I really don’t wish to go into safe mode when I want to uninstall or install something every time I’m restricted because of my default admin abilities.

Cheers.

I can't do that on everything. I can't uninstall programs because my System Administrator has disallowed me. I need to access it. I've been using 'Run as Administrator' on some programs but it just won't work on some.

I've never had any probs uninstalling things from add/remove, just one extra click.

What I am peeved about in vista is the amount of HD space it uses, omg... its NOT a 2-3GB install, after a few weeks its up to 12GB with all the crud its collecting. thinking of heading to XP x64...

Ah well you see. I do. I tried Add and Remove programs and it won't let me uninstall for example, Quicktime or Apple (something or another). Stupid programs like that. Being restricted was alright for the first few days. But when I couldn't uninstall some programs like that becomes a problem; because I don't know what problems I will encounter later on.

Just me. This is a Novatech computer, brand new, around one to two weeks old and I'm having this problem. There has to be a solution, if not, I might have to ring them up, again; been waiting around three days for a graphics card which has not yet arrived.
