Hello,

I'm currently very busy trying to squeeze every ounce of power out of my machine right now.

I found HyperTransport tech, however, and was wondering what setting I should have HT set to in the BIOS. Is it a form of overclocking (i.e. will the CPU burn-out with too much in the HT setting)?

The motherboard is a Foxconn NF4SK8AA-8EKRS. Rest in my sig.

Thanks

General rule of thumb is don't let HTTxFSB go over 1000, but otherwise keep it as high as possible (ie nothing under 600). Some motherboards are fine higher, some aren't. Mine is fine up to atleast 1150, but by then i've normally switched down the multiplier to the lower range. It has no performance impact if kept within the range, but will suffer instability outside.
