Does NVidia have any more recent drivers for my Nitro 15.4" 750's GeForce Go 6600? I've tried downloading the Graphics Driver > GeForce and TNT2 > Windows XP / 2000 and Graphics Driver > GeForce Go 7800 GTX > Windows XP / 2000 drivers but both say that they can't find the appropriate hardware.

I only ask because the current drivers are almost a year old (version 7.3.0.0 dated 15/04/2005).

I don't think I had tried that link before but, having now downloaded the drivers from there, I get the same message as before; "The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

NOTE: I am in External VGA mode

My bet is you have an Nvidia chipset on your mainboard ... when you uninstalled the old video driver it might have kicked out the mainboard drivers as well ... if you uninstall the video driver then reinstall the mainboard drivers then reinstall the video drivers it will work...

I'm having the same issue with my nitro 760, the 6600 graphics card isn't letting me update the driver for some reason. could you explain that last bit about installing and reinstalling again, but possibly a bit less technical?

Nvidia do not provide a driver directly for the Geforce 6600 GO chip. Drivers from Nvidia Site will not work. The only Laptop Graphics driver they are producing is for the 7800GTX go Chip.
