side mounted card reader

anyone ever put a 4 slot card reader on the side of their PC where the transparent plastic is?

Ive got no drive bays free, (I have a gaming bomb case with 4 drive bays, 2 for DVD drives and 2 used for front LCD display and card readers look quite ugly on the front anyway, so this seems like a good idea for a hack,


Is it me, or is have the door over the drive bays (of bits you want to get at quite often) and have the side of the PCs innards a completely daft idea? :roll:

I used to have one connected to a rear usb port and jammed under the body of the computer so it didn't move too much. It actually turned out fairly impracticle but only due to having to move 6 coffee mugs everytime i wanted to put in an SD card!
