i already have a strong wireless network but its all taken into consideration

around £80 mark will go abit higher if its more class ;)

its £76 and its an updated version from all the other Gigabyte P35 - would be running 2GB PC6400 Geil blackdragon q6600

lol i will! my mate has one and he can overclock his q6600 with it very easy to 3ghz and it all stays quite cool and its durable ;)

Well.. iv only touched and powered up 1 DFI bord in my life, but this was a APC board and not lanparty. The only issue I saw was the parelle port which really is not DFI's fault but Foxconns. (rubish connections,....)

The overclocking is down to the chipset which is absolutely nothing to do with DFI. Intel make the chipsets bud. If you want to pay for your gimmics fine. Don't put other people out of pocket though. Just because something costs a lot of money it doesn't make it good.

Novatech is pretty limited on board selection. I've bougth the P5KR because they had no gigabytes in stock. Hit's 400 FSB fine no voltage increases. Even the crucial ram keeps up. Either way, unless you have got a canister of liquid nitrogen it really does not matter which board you pick. You need to look at the little things like how many PCI/IDE slots you need.

In the ideal word yes but not every board is the same. If you got 3 brands of board with the same NB and SB I can garentee one will be the better then the other 2. Every release is diffrent and you just need to go by recomendations at the end of the day.

Just spoke to the DFI dude who used to do support. He told me that he quit becouse DFI dont fix there known issues. So im now going to look else ware for a motherbord. Any sugestions? And not 45nm. I dont have that much to spend on it.

idealy: 65nm, DDR2, Quad core duo, SLI (not Xfire, found something out today which was disterbing) and 6 SATA ports.

noob, go for 1 good card not too, they use more power, get nowhere the performance and drivers suck. also single card games that dont like sli/xfire will poodly along slowly. Believe me ive been there.

The DFI Board you were looking at did. This is the one feature you do want else you won't be able to put any new processors in the board. 65nm is dead.

Crossfire with 3870's is ok. Personally I'd go for a 8800GT(S)

Im a user that likes to sit down, look at the hardware, play with it, run a few games on and then decide if its worth it.. In my opinion, I think 8800GTX card suck. My mate has a E6600 over clocked to 3.2 water cooled and with a 8800GTX, and I played a high end game, the GFX were so bad that my onboard GFX on my 7 year old motherboard looked better than that.. Crossfire FTW..

Right that didnt explain why 3dmark sucks firstly, and 3.2 watercooled what a waste of a cooling system i had my e6600 at 3.6 on air (on my ****** striker too), gtx is still the top end single card so what your saying is any1 who has an 8800 or similar might as well have stuck with on board gfx? Squid is right tek the 3870 in xfire thrashes the 8800gt in sli, so at around £150 a card its definately worth considering in my eyes.

XFIRE sucks at cod4 which is the best game there is at the moment. CF/SLI = pointless unless you have 24inch screen etc anyway. Hardly anyone does. All these people spending **** loads of hardware and they have pathetic screens. Don't understand you lot. Screens are the most important component. You spend all the time looking at them :P
