The ie7 is good enough for me have used most of the rest but its just simple and easy and already there, so i stick with that.
i use both! BEBO is for IE but anything else it has to be firefox coz of the tabs so i can control everything in one window slot :)

Firefox. It's nothing great, crashes quite a bit, eats a lot of memory. Does have plugins though which is nice, especially the cookie blocking ones.
Firefox :)
Have to use IE for some apps at work though.

Bit of a narrow choice?
I didn't expect so many to choose IE7.
But it is good, but I can't play videos with it. For that purpose I go for Firefox.
The best sites are not ASP.net and AJAX. They are HTML written by a editor not Dreamweaver!!!
Nick
???? download the codex then n00b. Everyone has to do this on a fresh install of xp... Flash are the best :P

HTML, CSS, PHP, a little of ASP, some JavaScript.
I mainly try and use CSS for websites. I hate using image, mainly because of the load times. Even then I try and limit the actual template images to about 50k. Which is 10 sec on a 56k line.
Photoshop is very good. After Effects is good as well
yeah im geting 4 gcse in Dida

Hmmmmm, I never thought about downloading a codec???
That is a really good idea. In fact maybe my computer has those already.
Or maybe Windows Media player will just not play a video in a webpage. i.e. a blog.
Gee, I dunno.
Idiot.

Anyone tried Google Chrome yet? I haven't bothered yet, may do when it's a bit more tried and tested. Apparently it's full of bugs but is a whole lot faster than any other.

Not many people seem to know this about the Firefox browser, but if you highlight a phrase and right click "Google Search" it opens a new tab with all the search links.
El Duderino thinks I am a genius for finding things out, but in truth, I just know how to google stuff... :P

I've got Chrome and Firefox. Chrome looks a lot like Firefox I thought, one thing I do like about Chrome is that when you open it you are shown screenshots of your recent history, so far I haven't found any bugs with it though. :?

I'm on chome. Have been for a while now. I use the dev version which gets fixes ever two weeks or so. Once this has plugins it will be the browser of choice. Firefox is so fundamentally poor. It's sooo slow it's unreal. Chrome is just so quick, it's a dream on a laptop.

IE7, IE8, Firefox and Chrome...
I trust Firefox and know it's ways and shortcuts and have had no virus issues with it. Chrome is very stripped down, very fast, and has great recovery features from lockup without invoking Task Manager. Chrome looks almost amateurish, but it does the job when you know it's ways:

Firefox because Ive got too used to addons like flashblock and adblock and stuff. Tried to use Opera cos Firefox is a resource hog, but Opera was nearly jus as bad.
Chrome is fast but too stripped down. I need those addons.

Opera here as well
Having used FF for the past few years I'd noticed it becoming less stable with each update ( not saying it's terrible but it had become more apparent for me ) I gave chrome a go but found it fell over more than FF did, I used to use opera a lot about 6-7 years ago so I thought I'd give it another crack, so glad that I did
I wouldn't use the built in torrent plugin as utorrent simply cannot be beaten, I rarely customise browsers as I'm more interested in the content of the pages than if the buttons co ordinate with my desktop, it is very simple to use though
Cal
Firefox. Don't really know why. Windows has just updated IE to version 8. I'll check it out later....

Firefox, switched between it and Safari until recently when realised Safari 4 beta had garnished my HDD with 3gb of cached files that it doesnt delete unless you do it manually. I'd use chrome if it was out on OS X, and won't use Opera as it doesn't support multi-touch gestures like FF/Safari.
Firefox with a couple of useful addons.

Used the Dev releases for a while and ver 2.x is AWESOME. Soooo fast and very simple to use! :OMG:
It's like the Ronseal of web browsers - does exactly what it says on the tin :)

Opera by a country mile. I have others installed: IE7, Firefox with a few addons, Safari, Chrome but always end up using Opera apart from the odd occasion where a page doesn't render correctly. Thankfully there are very few sites i visit where i encounter that problem now.
My Firefox:
http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/6572/ff2r.png (http://img35.imageshack.us/i/ff2t.png/)
Beautiful browser. Screenshot lacks bookmarks bar which is nearly always present.
As you may be able to see I have the "IE Tab" extension which allows pages to be opened with the IE engine, so I really have no need for the IE browser at all.
I experimented with Chrome for a while, it is very fast but it lacks the features of Firefox.
