That does sometimes happens, it is very unfortunate when it does happen, it isnt normally a huge problem, but you can always get them refunded, or exchanged, im sure N wouldnt mind, but you could go down to a cartridge world and get em fixed

I have experience of these cartridges working on an R200. Sounds like you may have had faulty cartridges.

They may of been damaged during transport.
Do the old cartridges still fit in the printer??

Make sure that you are careful to remove the tab correctly. There is little else that you can do wrong. I would also advise that you can the cartridges one at a time, that way, if there is a fault with one you know which it is very quickly.

No these Carts are just rubbish, they don't even fit the print head properly, My printer is now just a fancy lump of un-usable Epson plastic. this will be the last time I buy cheap carts. Very Pissed.

I would recommend getting the original carts -refilled- rather then replaced, as you know the original carts will fit the printer and should detect all ok.

So you would not recommend buying new Epson carts then?

If your having incompatability issues with alternative units then I would recommend going back to the original manufacturers parts as they should work without a problem :)

Well I am going to place an order with you for a black Epson cartridge, if that works, I will send the rest of the non Epson carts back to you for a full fefund and some sort of compensation (i.e. Epson carts to complete the carts in my machine, that will appease me). What do you think?

using novatechs paper(6*4)and ink, it prints photos just as good as epson paper and ink.

Well I have bought another EPSON cart for the black, and I get perfect prints again, so the lesson here is do not buy cheap and shoddy carts if you want good print outs, I am going to send the Novatech carts back with rather a heated letter telling them what I think of their carts, and hopefully the good people at Novatech will give me my money back on the [CENSORED] carts.
