Incompatible DVD player with 37" LCD - Samsung DVD HD95

We are aware of an incompatibility between the Samsung DVD HD950 model upscaling DVD player and the 37" LCD TV. This does not affect any other players.

someone I know told me he had to a firmware update on a Samsung TFT TV as produced a wavy picture on his XBOX 360 - sounds like it could be similar?

This is to do with a particular signal output that the DVD player creates at certain times and when a disc finishes. The signal seems to cause a strange output on these displays and as far as we are aware this is not harmful, just not attractive.
