Hi there,
Can anyone advise me on the best choice for a 19" monitor for use with my XBOX360 to get the games running in HD mode. I have looked through a load of monitors online but primarily I am just unsure of the connection type required as I have the HD lead that came with the XBOX360 but the monitor specs all state VGA, DVI-D, D-Sub or HD-15 etc? Is the latter the one I need to be able to hook one up?
Thanks in advance.
PS. I have about £200 to spend give or take (is this enough) and am guessing 8ms or lower is best, yeah?

If it says on the net or instore that it is HD compatible, then it will have the HD connector port, it is just common sense

if you are looking at using your 360 on a vga (pc) monitor you will need an xbox360 vga cable, the hi def cable that comes with it can only be used on an hdtv ready display.

also available form ebay and most computer game shops. more info on the cable can be found here.

when you have the cable you can connect your 360 to a vga monitor and play it in hi def, you can choose what resolution you use in the display setup.

at home i play my 360 on one of these and it looks amazing.

if you are looking to spend about £200 sometiming like this monitor would be good.

Thought this but wanted some confirmation as I hate buying something, getting it out of the box only to find it is not compatible or another bit of kit is required

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh I see now. Brill response, thanks. Nice Sony screen you have but I defo cannot stretch to that. The Acer is one I had been looking at. Just need to make it a must have in the 'other halves eyes' now
