I would like some advice from a Novatech technical support person regarding a problem with a Crossfire 2 that has intermittant problems when running on battery.I have two Crossfire 2 laptops and have swapped the batteries over to see if it was the actual battery causing the problem but it isnt. The laptop in question sometimes shuts down during startup causing Windows to get P`d off. Also if you are running under mains power and remove the plug the laptop sometimes freezes and needs to be force shut down.Could this be a hardware problem or is it a Windows issue. The other Crossfire 2 that i have has never had any of these problems, they are both running Corporate Windows XP Pro with the same serial number.

hello, unfortunately the problem looks to be a hrdware problem. i think it would be best if the laptop comes back for test.
please can you contact tech support by phone (0870 112 0612) or live chat so we can generate a returns number and arrange having the laptop back for test.

We have not had a call wait of more than a minute or so all morning. Aftersales is generally more busy over lunch periods but you should be fine most of this afternoon. If you have the return number I can see if there is anymore information and pass it to you using this service.
