View Full Version : what is the best memory for my setup?

hi i have just ordered the following

Pentium D 940
Asus P5WD2-E Premium
BFG Geforce 7600GT

what would be the best RAM to get for the mobo?

im not looking to spend much around 100 or less and looking for about 1GB.

any help appreciated thanks

are you gonna overclock??

they dont overclock far, but if your not into overclocking then these will do fine

That a a DDR-2 mobo ;)

Just get some nice DDR2-533Mhz or some 667MHz Corsair or OCZ will do ;)

well my mums bf knws a fair bit bout overclockign so when i go home from university im gonan get him to put it all together.

i have a pentium 940, what can that be overclocked to without need for expensive cooling?

then ill get some ram thats gonna compliment the setup.

would these work ok for my mobo?

they say there 800mhz and not bad price

Also, I would recommend Corsair for Asus board, and OCZ for DFI boards, only because of how their support teams browse and share the same forums though...
