I have today purchased a Novatech 27inch LCD Tv which is badged as Mirai, can you tell me if this brand has a code which will allow the Sky + remote to be used with it.Also i checked Mirai`s website and they show a 2 year warranty on my model, can someone from Novatech confirm if this is the case..

unfortunately there are no sky+ remote codes for these tv's.

as far as i know all tv's and monitors that we have sold over the years have a 2 or 3 year warranty. if customers have any problems within the first 12 months the tv or monitor can come back to us, however for a quicker turn around if the customer contacts the manufacturer or there warranty company they will arrange the repair or replacement.

As Danno says we do not have any Sky(+) remote control codes for our panels. If anyone comes across codes that are working, even partially, please post here to help out anyone else.

Well this all depends on what remote version you have although its worth a try no matter what version you have.

Basically every so often Sky collect codes from TV makers and bring out a new Remote controller. This is signified by a version number sticker in the battery compartment. The only problem with this is they are always playing catch up. So it takes a while for the new sky remotes to support newer TV's.

The other problem is that even with the remote code. If you have an old version remote it may still not work as it does not have the correct bits in the remote. Anyway that all said no guarantees

Mirai use the following code : 065

I have been informed (although not confirmed) that this is known to work with Sky Remote Rev 6. Not been tested on any other version. So give it a go see how you get on.

I have a 2 revision 6 sky plus remotes and it does not work with either, also it needs to be 4 digits,i have tried many combinations putting 065 in and a 4th number and none work :?I have just searched on Google and it appears 065 is a correct code but it says for normal sky remotes not Sky plus so that may be the problem,i found a way of making my controller accept a 3 digit code but 065 although accepted by the remote does not work with my TV,im sure its just a matter of time though before a correct code is available

Ok you could be right it might be a Sky+ thing. It did not say if it was sky or sky+ so obviously we know now. I will keep an eye out for any more info. Just out of interest did you try adding another 0 to the beginning. as in 0065. I know its a long shot but may be worth a go.

Thanks for letting us know that it does not work on sky + if i come across anything will let you know.

They accept Sony codes, for my revision 6 sky plus remote i used 0000 as per the code in the Sky booklet for Sony and it works perfectly
