But then it does only have onboard intel graphics =)

are the intel graphics the "extreme" or the normal, there might be a 0.5 fps difference

does the rock only having 512mb Ram instead of the 2gb with the Nomad extreme have any affect on the battery life?

The affect is negligible.

buy a spare battery if you are that worried about battery life. They are 50quid.
