Hi,
What documents / proof of eligibility are required in order to purchase the Eductional version of Office 2007 Pro, as featured here:
Microsoft Office 2007 Education Professional Retail Boxed (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?MS-OP07ER)
Thanks.

No proof needed at all :) All you need is cash to buy it  :P
I was wondering the same when I bought my XP Pro SP2, it says OEM and only to be distributed with a new computer, well.. it obviously wasn't at the time, I just wanted XP :)
You shouldn't have any problems whatsoever trying to buy that, give Novatech the cash and they will send it to you

Thanks for your reply MadDutchDude.
What about any differences between the Educational and standard versions? The description (link above) does not suggest anything different as far as I can see. Hhmmm, what about the licence?

Thanks for the link Danno, certainly useful. Although there is no mention of the "Education" version of 'Office 2007 Professional'.

Education version might be known as the Student version, not too sure on this however.
You do not need any certificates to say you are still in education at all. All they care about as far as I am concerned is making money ;) Microsoft isn't bothered if it is for you, your son or daughter or even the old dear, all they want is your money

The terms of use are posted on the MS website. Basically they are for use in education establishments or by students or staff. There is no need to send off a proof of attendance etc as you do with Adobe applications and the software is just the same as the full versions, the difference is the licence agreement and terms of use.
I personally run Office and Outlook academic versions - My son is at school.
