It shows it has a Integrated "Freeview" tuner - can you tell me what make that tuner might be - to get an idea of the likelyhood of over air updates to the firmware for this

The tuner is indentical to the Hyundai Q321 build- here (http://www.hyundaiq.com/pro_q321.asp) but I do not have anymore technical information I'm afraid. I cannot confirm whether or not firmware updates are possible over air updates but it is possible to update via standard RS232 serial cable.

Thanks for that..

having perused the forums about this - it would appear that whilst this has a digitial tuner - its not "fully interactive" - thus a
PRESS RED on Freeview will give you nothing...

Shame..I was almost going to purchase one

Am I seeing this right? This person is definetely looking a gift horse in the mouth..... if you want the "red button" functionality, just go out and buy a £30 STB. I have this tv, and its staggering for the price- actually, belay that, its just staggering at whatever price. SO go and buy your £1000 one then- which will STILL BE DVB-T- which means its a stripped down Freeview unit.

Yes you are seeing right..

I've seen the panel...its very impressive...but the literature doesnt indicate that its not fully Freeview compliant...which whilst thats a very minor point I grant you, its misleading.....

I've got the other components - freeview boxes, PVR's etc - and yes for the price (once you have the panel firmware flashed to remove the issue with lip-synch) which I gather is applied to most of the ones Novatech ship.. then I'm sure its a great piece of kit....

I'm merely pointing out something thats lacking in the Digital tuner...which WILL (as far as I know) scupper you using interactive services such as provided by Freeview on Wimbledon, World Cup etc..

So.. next time you want to use these facilites...and have to switch from the inbuilt tuner to the box you've had to buy extra to receive these bonus features...then perhaps you'll understand where I am coming from

Thats ALL I was doing..
