Leadtek VC100 U Color Problem

Today I bought a Leadtek VC100 U video capture USB device from Novatech, however I have experienced a number of problems with it already. I bought it to try and capture video off my Xbox 360, and so far here is everything we have tried and the results:
Plug 360 into TV, plug VC100 U into TV out - S-video and 2 phonos - sound works but video is black and white.
Plug 360 straight into VC100 U - 3 phonos (composite) - No red. Anything that should be red appears a strange shade of green.
Any suggestions?

change the 360 settings, pal 50 pal 60 all that stuff. my mate had it running black and white and couldnt fix it

Thanks matz, that was the problem of their being no red - the 360 was set to 60hz. However, the main game we bought the VC100 U to capture can only be played on 60hz, with no red. Does the VC100 U not work with 60hz or something?
